Genus:

Micronaspis

Species:

Observation Notes:

Females remained stationary when calling. They were found on low (3-10") vegetation like Perennial Glasswort and Sea Ox-eye in both open areas and under mangroves. One observed female observed at close range glowed at a low light intensity, then pulsed brighter flashes at irregular intervals between half a second to 5 seconds. This individual glowed and flashed like this for six minutes, went dark for a few seconds and glowed and flashed for another minute. Having issues uploading photos and will add as soon as I can.
