Port Everglades contributes significantly to ALAN reaching habitats within the park. Airplanes taking off from Fort Lauderdale International Airport also
At the marina parking lot, street lights illuminate the edge of the parking lot at ~2 lux and the surface directly under the lamp at ~30 lux.
At Parking Lot 1 (which does not have lighting), there was noticeable light trespass from Port Everglades on the canopy of the maritime hammock.
