Peppermint lined the steam and Vinca major covered the ground. Sycamore was very common, leaving a thick layer of leaf litter along the ground. Muhlenbergia was the dominant grass in the area.

I believe this is either Microphotus or Pleotomus, but I will wait to hear what Joe Cicero thinks (I saw that you cross-posted to iNaturalist— that is great.)
